I attended a training on Social media and LinkedIn recruitment and Personal Branding held by Tom Laine in Moscow, and this was one of the best trainings I’ve ever seen. Tom is an experienced professional with good knowledge of what he is talking about and at the same time, he has outstanding presentation skills. He understands demands and expectations of his audience very well and it makes his training interesting, informative and very practical. There was not a single minute lost or boring. I can confidently recommend Tom Laine’s trainings on social media and LinkedIn.

During the mid-2000s Tom worked in my team in London. He was actively and successfully using social media in recruitment. This was something that was not widely used at the time and it did put another dimension on the search for the right candidate. It was astonishing how he systematically used LinkedIn and other tools to reach out to potential clients and candidates. Some of us were more actively using LinkedIn than others, but no one was leveraging these new tools as systematically as Tom.
Adecco had a possibility to use Tom as a trainer in our internal High Intensity Training. In training we have a section titled ”Know your market”. Tom was able to offer our personnel the latest knowledge for this purpose. Because of his strong experience of using digital tools in his own business he is a trainer who is capable of providing the information in a concrete way. Tom’s training was highly appreciated and well received by our HR professionals.
I attended the Social Media Training to understand how to fully utilize Social Media platforms for recruitment purposes. The training focused on best practice and we were shown case studies from other organisations to identify what was and wasn’t successful. Tom explained a whole range of social media platforms, some of which I wasn’t aware existed and have since investigated using for our organisation. Tom’s delivery was very engaging, clear and the content extremely relevant. I would highly recommend the course and would gladly attend future training sessions. The customer service provided by Tom before and after the training was also of a very high quality.
